the use and management of Natural Resources in such a way as to ensure its
availability for use in the future. Environmental protection is therefore
the core of this concept..
Rational
The GOJ under the Multisectoral
Investment Programme , has commissioned a preinvestment study aimed at
preparing a Master Plan for the future development of Jamaica's irrigation
sector.
The study was implemented by the
NIC with the assistance of a firm, HARZA Engineering Company
International L.P. The firm was mandated to:
