How to Become a Customer

Stage 1

Step 1

  • Visit the District Office nearest to you and fill out an application form
  • Provide documentary proof of legal access to land:-
    • Title, volume and folio number, valuation number;
    • Legal lease;
    • Letter of legal occupation.
  • Provide identification
    • Valid ID, National ID, Passport, Drivers Licence;
    • Tax Registration Number (TRN);
    • Companies are required to provide Certificate of Registration and Tax Compliance Certificate
  • Security Deposit and Connection Fee
  • Companies are required to provide Certificate of Registration and Tax Compliance Certificate

 

Step 2  

Application is processed by Field Service Officer for suitability of acquiring service.

Step 3

Regional Systems Manager checks for availability of water and makes final recommendation regarding availability of service.

Step 4

Application is referred to Director of Commercial Operations and Director of Engineering and Technical Services for approval. Customer is notified.

Total processing time for Stage 1 is fifteen (15) days.

 

Stage 2

Step 1

Security deposit and connection fee are paid.

Step 2

Operations Department puts necessary infrastructure in place for delivery of water.

Step 3

All relevant information is sent to Information Systems Department to be added to customer database in preparation for billing.

Step 4

Water is delivered.

Total processing time for Stage 2 is fifteen (15) days.
